February Christmas Block of the Month
This class is for beginners, but anyone is welcome to join us to make this Christmas sampler.
Begins Jan. 22, 2025 and goes through December 2025 to finish a Christmas themed quilt.
Meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10 am to 12:30 pm.
February class meets on Feb. 19, 2025.
You will be making a Friendship Star Block and a Log Cabin Block this month. A Friendship star is a 9 patch with half square triangles. Log Cabin is strip piecing, Traditionally the center square of the Log Cabin is red or yellow to represent the fire in the hearth.
We will continue to work on accurate cutting, piecing, and pressing.

| Skill Details: | This Christmas Sampler is beginner friendly, but all skill levels are encouraged to join us. |
| Requirements: | You will need a sewing machine in good working order, good quality thread, a rotary cutter with a new blade and cutting mat, although the classroom has plenty of mats to use. Fabric scissors, thread snippers. Seam ripper, marking tools, straight pins or clips, and any other tool you like to use when sewing. |
