Sewcial Beginners Class - Upcycled Denim Skirt
Join us for a fun and relaxed sewing session in our Sewcial Beginners Class, where creativity meets sustainability! In this class, you’ll learn how to turn a pair of old jeans into a stylish upcycled denim skirt — no prior sewing experience needed.
Supply List: Upcycled Denim Skirt Class
- One pair of jeans that fit well at the waist and have no holes above the knees
- An old dress or skirt (to be used for added panels, inserts, or embellishments)
- Sewing machine in good working condition, capable of a zigzag stitch
- Matching thread for denim and/or insert fabric
- Optional embellishments – trims, lace, buttons, patches, or fabric scraps for personalizing your skirt
Don’t forget your basic sewing supplies: scissors, pins, seam ripper, measuring tape, etc.
